Exploring Hip-Hop Music
​through Technology-Based
​Culturally Responsive Pedagogies​

Explore ways to help students engage with hip-hop music facilitated by technology-based, culturally responsive pedagogies. We will discuss an extended unit of instruction involving learning experiences such as sampling, remixing, creating beats, and writing raps, with students ultimately creating their own hip-hop tunes.
